LibDems Trounced In By-Election

Here's an interesting result from London.

At the by-election held in Kentish Town yesterday (28 Oct) I'm told that the LibDems poured in a lot of outsiders, to support their candidate who had been a sitting councillor in the ward until deposed in the elections last May, against a virtually unknown Labour candidate.

Jenny Headlam-Wells, Labour, 1411 votes (53%)
Nick Russell, LibDems, 715 (27%)
Naomi Aptowitzer, Green, 349 (13%)
Will Blair, Conservative, 186 (7%)

I guess when the tide turns ...
