Reading Council has opened a consultation on the draft Palmer Park Development Framework.
The main purpose of the framework is to provide a master plan for the area, showing options for how a pool could be accommodated on site, whilst recognising the park’s history and its vital role as an open space serving the local community.
The consultation takes place between 14th December 2018 and 22nd February 2019. The Council is now seeking your views on the proposals set out in the document. Comments will be taken into account in drawing up a final version.
Relevant information is provided at www.reading.gov.uk/palmerpark. Copies of the Draft Palmer Park Development Framework are also available to view during normal opening hours at Central Library, Palmer Park Library and the Civic Offices in Bridge Street.
An exhibition will be held at Palmer Park Stadium (Wokingham Road, Reading RG6 1LF) between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday 15th January 2019. This will provide an opportunity to speak with members of the team in an informal setting. There is no need to let the council know if you wish to attend beforehand.
All written responses should be sent to email@example.com or Planning Policy Team, Reading Borough Council, Civic Offices Bridge Street, Reading RG1 2LU. Please provide written responses to the consultation by 5 p.m. on 22nd February 2019.
